Not quite muscle spasms...

I don't have muscle spasms as much as I have these intense lock ups that become agitated whenever I move too quickly, or into a different position (e.g from a standing position to a sitting position...)

I rarely have spasms, cramps and this odd seizing up are the norm for me. I got out of the hospital/rehab and these symptoms happened regularly, but they were tolerable and small. Now that I'm home it feels like they've increased in strength and frequency. When it starts out it starts at my toes, and my legs immediately go haywire; one leg bridges up and the other sticks straight out in the air, I have no control of their movement. This lasts for about 5 seconds and then it calms down and I return to my relaxed state. A lot of the time it starts with just one leg, but the other will ALWAYS follow in suit. Anyway, with their increase in severity it has become painful, before when they were weak in strength I could brush them off easily and almost ignore them.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm almost certain the Baclofen does nothing for this.

Thanks for reading.
